City of Naples Police Bureau

The Bureau of Police is one of three overhead bureaus and has the greatest proportionate number of department personnel and is dedicated to providing professional services in the areas of Police Patrol, Investigations, Crime Prevention and Community Services in its continuing efforts to protect and serve the Citizens of Naples.

The Bureau of Police (BOP) is structured along two functional divisions of operations consisting of the Patrol Division and the Criminal Investigations Division.

Along with the daily 24 / 7 patrol coverage, the Patrol Division consists of several specialty functions to include Beach Security, Community Services, School Crossing, Traffic Safety / Enforcement, Marine Safety / Enforcement and Police K-9 services.

The Criminal Investigations Division is comprised of several units providing services to include General Investigations, Vice Intelligence and Narcotics investigations, Crime Analysis, Crime Scene Processing and Property and Evidence Collection.
